The Japanese Government announced on Monday (16th) that registration is open for the scholarship programs for the next year of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, Education, Science and Technology of the country. Those selected for the programs will have the chance to study at universities in the Asian country as undergraduate students, in a vocational course or technical school, or even be approved as research students, being able to conduct a doctoral or master's project in Japan .

As scholarships offered are integral and include the payment of airfare, help with the monthly cost and also exemption from school fees. The program will also offer a Japanese language course during the first year.
Those residing in the Federal District, Tocantins and Goiás must submit their registrations to the Japanese embassy, either in person or by post. Those residing in other locations should look for the Japanese consulate in the region.
This month, registration for the graduate program is open. The start of studies in the country is scheduled for April next year and will last for two years. Applicants must meet certain requirements set forth by the Government of Japan, such as schooling, a maximum age of 34 as of April next year, and proficiency in either Japanese or English.
The selection process consists of a documentary analysis, interview and written tests. At a later stage, it will be necessary to send the documentation to the Government of the country, so that it can be analyzed by the Japanese ministry.
