Announcement of approval of the new steel was made on World Energy Day and reiterates Usiminas' commitment to investing in renewable energies

Usiminas announced the approval of a new specific steel for use in structures for fixing solar panels and is now the only company in the world to have such a product.
The announcement was made on the 29th of May, when World Energy Day is celebrated, a date created to encourage the use of renewable energy on the planet.

The steel developed by Soluções Usiminas raises the company to the level of the only manufacturer of a type of steel exclusive to this segment.

The product was baptized USI SAC SOLAR POWER and is characterized by the wide variety of drainage degrees, being announced with great pride in the company's social networks.

The steel has already debuted on the market in a photovoltaic power generation plant, with a generation capacity of 14 MW, in Bahia.

According to an announcement by Usiminas, being present in projects that produce clean energy and thinking about and investing in a better future for all of us.
