The vacancies offered in the Air Force competition represent a unique opportunity for young people who wish to enter a military career and specialize in areas essential to the country's defense.
This Saturday, (06/04), registration for the long-awaited competition of the Air Force are now officially open. With a total of 15 places available, this competition offers the opportunity to enroll in training courses for aviation officers, quartermasters and infantry officers, scheduled to begin in 2025.
Candidates qualified They will have the chance to study at the prestigious Air Force Academy (AFA), located in Pirassununga, in the interior of São Paulo.
What are the vacancies available in the Air Force competition?
The competition aims to fill vacancies in three different areas: quartermasters, airmen and infantry.
Five vacancies are intended for quartermasters, another five for airmen, both open to candidates of both sexes.
The remaining five vacancies, focused on infantry, are exclusively for male candidates.
Who can apply?
Basic requirements include having completed high school and being between 17 and 22 years old by December 31, 2025.
How to register for the Air Force competition?
Those interested in participating must register by 9am on April 22nd, Brasília time, exclusively through the official website of the Brazilian Air Force.
Fee and exemption
There is a participation fee of R$90, however, it is possible to request an exemption from payment.
Beneficiaries of the federal government's Single Registry for Social Programs and bone marrow donors in entities recognized by the Ministry of Health are entitled to free access.
What are the stages of the selection process to join the Air Force?
The first phase of the selective process is scheduled for July 7th and will consist of 64 multiple-choice questions, covering areas such as Portuguese, English, physics and mathematics, in addition to an essay.
The tests will be administered in 16 cities spread across all Brazilian regions, namely:
North

- Belo Horizonte (MG);
- Pirassununga (SP);

- Natal, RN);
- Reefs (PE);
- Salvador BA).
Candidates approved at this stage will undergo subsequent stages, including a health inspection, psychological aptitude examination and physical test.
Training and remuneration
Undergraduate courses last four years and take place on an internship basis.
Os students, enrolled as cadets, receive approximately R$1,5, in addition to benefits such as accommodation, uniforms, food and medical, hospital and dental assistance.
After graduation, soldiers occupy the position of aspiring officer, with salaries of around R$10, including additional payments, and can be assigned to serve throughout the national territory.
