Aker Solutions celebrates milestone

With more than 300 underwater trees delivered, Aker solutions celebrates the XNUMXth for Petrobras pre-salt, an achievement considered a milestone for the company

The 14th of October will go down in the history of Aker Solutions in Brazil. The company delivered the XNUMXth underwater tree for Petrobras projects in the pre-salt layer. In May of this year, the company's Paraná plant delivered a wet tree to Equinor.

The company has already produced almost 300 underwater trees for various projects, always with a high level of local content and cutting-edge technology.
Aker also made its valuable contribution with the manufacture of the first underwater tree for the Lula field, the largest oil producer in Brazil.

Petrobras recognizes the value of Aker Solutions in subsea projects and declared through its director, Eberaldo de Almeida Neto, “Aker Solutions has proven the capacity and competence, through a highly qualified workforce, to offer high quality technology with security".

From subsurface and concept to decommissioning projects, Aker Solutions' technical expertise and strong partnerships provide energy companies with what they need to succeed.
The company started with a small mechanical workshop founded on the Aker River in Oslo more than 170 years ago and today it is present in more than 20 countries around the world with 16.000 employees.

In Brazil, in February this year, Click Petróleo e Gás announced the negotiation of Aker Solutions, which acquired the remaining 30% to obtain total control of CSE. The other 70% had already been purchased in 2016.
