Amazon Web Services (AWS) joined iFood's plan to train and increase the employability of new professionals interested in starting a career in technology. There will be 3 free grants to train professionals in cloud computing. See below how to get your job

Through the partnership, Amazon Web Services (AWS) worked with iFood's Sustainable Solutions team on a cloud computing education program to offer training and enable people in vulnerable and/or unemployed situations to apply for junior or aimed at beginners in the sector.

With its Training and Certification team, AWS organized an agenda with preparation sessions, workshops, digital monitoring and labs, in addition to the practical application of the content. The model provides the necessary knowledge for professionals to start their journey in the technology job market by completing the modules.

The program is part of a set of iFood initiatives to train and employ 25 thousand technology professionals by 2026, promoting inclusion and also helping to reduce the shortage of labor in the IT sector.

According to a survey by the Brazilian Association of Information and Communication Technology Companies (BRASSCOM) in 2020, Brazil may face a deficit of more than 300 professionals by the year 2024.

About the free grants offered by Amazon Web Services and iFood in the technology course

• Professionals who are already in the technology sector or who wish to migrate their careers.
• This training's approach is foundational and therefore appropriate for sales or marketing professionals, business analysts, project managers, senior executives, and IT-related professionals.

The 1200 scholarships offered by Mercado Livre will have a four-month online immersion, divided into 12 meetings. Participants will learn about digital transformation, problem solving, UX, business development and digital marketing.

There will be four classes with 200 places in total, and half of them will be reserved for black, brown and indigenous girls. Mercado Livre wants to awaken, in girls, an interest in technology from an early age and bring more women into the job market in the future.
