Using a set of batteries from Tesla cars, the electric Kombi model in question will have the batteries of the Tesla Model S car. According to Volkswagen, the first electric Kombi models will arrive with a 77 kWh battery and the vehicle electric has a charging capacity of 418 km.

More on Tesla vehicles: 1,1 million electric cars to receive software update in the US; Shares of the company fall 3% due to the incident

Tesla has begun a recall of nearly 1,1 million of its electric cars over concerns that a closing window could "trap" a passenger before they can back out. The announcement was made by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

Vehicles to which the recall applies are:

Model 3 (from 2017 to 2022);

Model Y (from 2020 and 2021);

Model S (from 2021 and 2022);

Model X (from 2021 and 2022).

Due to what happened, investors wasted no time and demanded a positioning, which directly affected the shares of Elon Musk's electric car company. Around 15 pm, Tesla's shares fell 3,74% on the New York stock exchanges, where they were quoted at US$289,52, a number higher than that of other automakers or high-tech companies.

The company's stock receipts - the BDRs, acronym in English, also fell. At the same time, there was a drop of 4,60%, where they were trading at R$46,46. The incident brought Tesla shares down, as previously seen in April of this year.

Tesla said it will perform over-the-air software updates on cars to fix the issue. Thus, she reported that she is not aware of any injury, accident or death associated with the incident. The information was even taken from a safety recall report.

It's not the first time a recall has been made by Tesla this year. That's because in May, the company recalled around 130 vehicles due to problems with the central processing units of carros, which led the company to take sudden actions in order not to lose confidence.

Earlier, in April, Elon Musk's company recalled about 600 vehicles due to concerns that the sounds of the pedestrian alert system of electric cars could be obscured. To fix the problem, several actions were made.

In order to resolve the issue, the company has planned to release over-the-air software updates to deal with both situations. Now, it remains to be seen if there will be a new recall due to new misfortunes.
