The Brazilian Navy has a new public tender open with the aim of providing 671 vacancies for the School of Apprentices. There are opportunities in Ceará, Espírito Santo and Santa Catarina.

A Brazil's navy announced this Monday (05), the opening of a new Public Tender with 671 vacancies focused on male and female candidates, for admission to Schools for Apprentices-Sailors -CPAEAM/ 2023. For EAMCE – Fortaleza, there are 113 support vacancies, 104 for electronics and 75 for mechanics, for EAMES – Vila Velha, there are 80 support vacancies, 95 for electro-electronics, and 51 for mechanics. As for EAMSC – Santa Catarina, there are 51 vacancies for support, 51 for mechanics and 51 for electronics.

Requirements required to participate in the Public Tender of the Brazilian Navy

Those interested in applying for opportunities at the School of Apprentices can't be married, nor having constituted a stable union or have children, be 18 years old and under 22 years old on June 30, 2024 and have successfully completed or are in the process of completing the third high school year.

It is also necessary to be Brazilian, born or naturalized, of both sexes, under the terms of art. 12, I and II of the Federal Constitution, be up to date with the obligations of the Military Service and Electoral Justice, not be in a condition of defendant in criminal action, among others present in the public notice. Participants who are approved in the public tender of the Brazilian Navy will have a grant, in the total amount of R$ 1.303,90, in addition to food, medical and dental care, uniform, psychological, religious and social assistance during the 48 weeks of the course.

After being promoted to the rank of MN, the military from the School of Apprentices will receive a gross remuneration of BRL 2.294,50. Some of the vacancies in the public tender are reserved for candidates who fit the criteria described in the announcements.

Entries will only be made on the School of Apprentices page, between 8 am on January 30, 2023 and February 12 of the same year, following the official time in Brasilia. To register, you will need to pay a fee of R$ 40.

The classification of candidates will take place through an objective written test, of an eliminatory and classificatory nature, with 50 questions of general knowledge in the disciplines of Mathematics, Portuguese, Science and English, scheduled to be applied on April 2nd of next year. 

And also through verification of biographical data, physical fitness test, health inspection, psychological assessment, verification of documents and complementary hetero-identification procedure to the self-declaration. The period of validity of the Public Tender will end on the day that the Sailors Training Course begins, on January 29, 2024.
