The new Cacau Show factory will be located in the municipality of Linhares, in Espírito Santo, where the cocoa used in the manufacture

In a report released by Valor Econômico newspaper, Cacau Show will start operations at its second factory, located in Linhares, in the north of Espírito Santo. The forecast is that the company, one of the main chocolate producers in Brazil, will invest around R$ 100 million in the installation of this new factory, which will start operating in 2022. New development by Cacau Show, in Espírito Santo

Cacau Show already has a farm in Linhares, where the cocoa used in manufacturing is produced. Thus, the objective of building a new factory in the city is to bring planting closer to production and, by 2030, to become self-sufficient in fruit cultivation. In addition, the company intends to invest in the purchase of more land in Espírito Santo for planting cocoa, in addition to properties in the south of Bahia and Pará. 

Currently, Cacau Show has a factory in the city of Itapevi, in São Paulo, where it produces around 20 tons of chocolate annually. According to Valor Econômico, the new factory, in Linhares, will allow the company to increase its production by 25%, generating 210 jobs. 

Other details of the company's new factory

In addition, the new factory will serve as a distribution center for the North and Northeast regions of the country, where the company intends to expand. According to the state government, Cacau Show, in Espírito Santo territory, is in the process of joining the Investment Incentive Program in the State of Espírito Santo (Invest-ES). Within the incentive, the forecast investment is approximately R$ 67 million.

The mayor of Linhares, Guerino Zanon, celebrated, on social networks, the arrival of the new Cacau Show factory in the municipality. In a post on Instagram, the mayor said that he was, in August of this year, at the Itapevi factory, together with the municipal secretaries of Agriculture and Development.

“That day, we agreed on the last details with the CEO of the industry and his team so that we could give this great news to Brazil, to Espírito Santo and to the people of Linhares, especially cocoa producers throughout the region, of the installation of the new Cacau Show factory in our city”, wrote Guerino Zanon.

Fibracem announces that, by the end of 2022, it will invest more than R$ 4 million in the expansion project of its factory located in the city of Linhares, in the state of Espírito Santo. According to the company's director of planning and operations, Eryck El-Jaick, this new stage of the expansion of the factory will take place to improve the infrastructure and acquire state-of-the-art equipment. New jobs will open at the unit in Linhares.

The executive also says that with this additional contribution, Fibracem reaches a total of R$ 20 million invested in the factory. The forecast now is that Fibracem's manufacturing division, in Espírito Santo, will be responsible for 40% of the company's total industrial production.
