Urtopia develops new electric bicycle full of technologies. Urtopia e-bike has GPS, Fingerprint, anti-theft system and much more.

The company Urtopia recently launched its Chord electric bike, which has all the connectivity of the previous model, called the Carbon 1 and some new technologies. Its style and technological resources make the model different from many electric bicycles present in the market.

After 3 hours of recharging, the model is ready for another trip. Other features present on the E-bike include an integrated front light, torque sensor in the pedal, 8-speed gearing, hydraulic disc brakes and a powerful 250W motor. The model also has technological resources such as GPS, bluetooth to connect with the cell phone, fingerprint unlocking, voice control and anti-theft system.

Users don't have to worry about vehicle upgrades. After all, the electric bike's firmware is automatically updated when connected with a smartphone via Smart Bar. The 4G/GPS of the electric bicycle, in addition to mapping the vehicle's route through an application, allows tracking the bicycle in case of theft. There is a setting that makes it possible to receive a notification from the app if the e-bike moves while parked.

In tours, it is possible to define a destination location. In this way, the e-bike will use its navigation system (connected to the cell phone) to show the directions on the e-bike screen. The model has five speed modes, namely Pedal, Comfort, Eco, Sport and Turbo. Its top speed is 32 km/h.

The bike weighs 21 kg and has a load capacity of 130 kg, a 36W 250V motor, removable battery: Samsung LI-Ion 352,8 Wh, Range 5-120 km, TEKTRO hydraulic disc brakes, Clutch Derailleur 8-speed Shimano rear, CST C1720 Wheels, 700 X 42 C with reflector strips, 4G connectivity, Bluetooth and WIFI, SrVZO headlight and tail light.

It is worth noting that the electric bike app is available for iOS and Android. At the company website, the vehicle is going for 2.299,99 Euros with free shipping, 14-day return and two-year warranty.

Famous companies enter the electric bicycle market

A Hyundai announced earlier this month the launch of its new electric bike, called the eXXite Next. Created in partnership with the company Rayvolt, from Spain, the model has a common bicycle design, however it draws attention due to its frame with thicker pipes where the company managed to embed the components, such as the battery. Hyundai has partnered with the Spanish company to develop an e-bike with a 250 Watt engine.

Your battery it has the capacity to provide up to 80 km of autonomy with just one charge and assists pedaling with a maximum of 25 km/h. The component is hidden in the seatpost and it is possible to lift the model to use as a motionless exercise vehicle, with an app to keep track of all the data.

The company's launch is unique to France, for the time being, and costs around R$ 18,8 in direct conversion. Although it has a more robust frame, the batteries still offer a range of 80 km.
