Anerilene Alves de Souza, 32 years old, forestry driver, participated in the first group of they on the steering wheel, in 2021, in the LOTS operation in Três Lagoas, in Mato Grosso do Sul. Of the 12 women who participated in the course, she and eight others were hired. “The program opened doors for me that I never imagined reaching. I dreamed of being a truck driver since I was a child, and I am very happy to work at a company that values women,” she points out.

“Transport is not a predominantly female sector. On the contrary, we only have 17% of women in this segment, which is why developing this audience for the market is so important. There is a shortage of labor in the transport sector, and investing in training women to fill these vacancies it's a way to give these professionals opportunities and also meet a market demand”, explains Renata Harumi, responsible for the LOTS project in the Três Lagoas region.
