The mega enterprise of the Ceará solar plant will be built in Jaguaruana, in the Jaguaribe Valley, in the state of Ceará. It is estimated that hundreds of new jobs will be created in the region.

According to Kroma Energia's schedule, the contribution will be BRL 860 million in the first phase, which should be completed in mid-July 2024.
As for the second phase of the works, whose conclusion is scheduled for mid-2025, the other half of the investment will be applied, also in the amount of R$ 860 million.

According to the solar energy, the new complex will comprise around 8 photovoltaic plants and will generate 800 new jobs in the Vale do Jaguaribe region. Ceará in recent years has been striving to become a reference state in solar energy generation, as well as Bahia.
Energy potential of the state of Ceará

It is estimated that the initial investment contribution will be in the amount of R$ 650 million, and the energy potential is 192 MW. According to the solar energy company, the forecast is that the works will start in 2025, generating at least 500 jobs.
