Requirements: Professional graduated in Electrical Engineering with experience in steelmaking. Expertise in Electrical Maintenance Engineering for large direct current motors and high and medium voltage networks.
Assignments: Develop and implement methods, maintenance routines and improvements in machines, equipment and installations, aiming to ensure levels of availability, efficiency, integrity, safety and quality within the required technical standards and at a minimum maintenance cost

– Metallurgical Engineering (Specialist in Metallurgical Engineering)
Requirements: Professional graduated in Metallurgical Engineering with experience in steelmaking and performance in metallurgy processes (iron ore reduction).
Assignments:
- Acting in the reduction of iron ore and other iron loads in blast furnaces, with emphasis on process control systems and the quality of raw materials, inputs and the pig iron produced. Identify and apply statistical tools aimed at process improvement.
- Characterize raw materials (sinter, pellets and iron ore) and inputs (coke and PCI coal). Pig iron desulfurization and steel refining in the melt shop.
- Acting on thermodynamics and kinetics of reactions in blast furnaces, statistics focused on process modeling, physical-chemical characteristics of raw materials and inputs used in blast furnaces.

– Chemical Engineering (Junior Metallurgical Process Engineer)
Requirements: Professional graduated in Chemical Engineering with experience in steelmaking and performance in metallurgy processes (iron ore reduction).
Assignments:
- Knowledge of Coke Plants and the use of coal in blast furnaces. Study of the effect of different types of coal on the properties of metallurgical coke. Physical and chemical characterization of coals and coke. Optimization of the coke purchasing process through the study of suppliers.
- Experience with physical and chemical characteristics of different types of charcoal. Laboratory analysis methods for defining the properties of coals and coke.
