The Administrative Council for Economic Defense (Cade) approved the deal without restrictions, as published in the Official Gazette this Tuesday (08/09).

The transaction involved the purchase of Eletrobras' entire stake in the Santa Vitória do Palmar wind farm, located in the south of the state of Rio Grande do Sul, in addition to other undertakings totaling 583 megawatts of installed capacity.

The company Omega Geração intends to expand projects in the state of Bahia and announced the acquisition of half of the stake in wind farms of the French multinational EDF Renewables for BRL 662 million.

The binding agreement is for the purchase of a slice of the Ventos da Bahia wind farms 1 and 2, which have an installed capacity of 182,6 megawatts.
