Competition registrations open soon: career opportunity in Aeronautics at EPCAR
The Air Cadet Preparatory School (EPCAR) launched the notice for the 2025 competition, offering 130 places for the training of Air Force cadets. This contest is a excellent opportunity for young people of both sexes who wish to enter a promising military career.
The Air Cadet Preparatory School (EPCAR) is an educational institution of the Brazilian Air Force (FAB). Its main objective is to prepare young people to enter the Air Force Academy (AFA) as cadets.
EPCAR offers a training course focusing on military, scientific and sporting disciplines, as well as ethical and moral values. Students who successfully complete EPCAR have the chance to pursue their studies at AFA and eventually become FAB officers.
The training course, under an internship regime, comprises three years equivalent to official secondary education, recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC), and covers instructions in the scientific and military fields. Classified by the National Secondary Education Examination (Enem) as the fourth best public school in Brazil, the institution offers, annually, 130 to 180 places, attracting an average of 13 thousand candidates per competition.
Schedule and Requirements: Prepare for the EPCAR 2025 Competition
Entries for the contest of EPCAR 2025 will be open from March 5th and will close on the 25th of the same month. Candidates must have completed elementary school and meet specific age and marital status requirements.
It is essential to be within the age range between 14 and 19 years old by December 31st of the year of enrollment, in addition to being single and without children or dependents.
Competition Stages: Objective Test and Additional Assessments
The selection process for the EPCAR 2025 competition includes several stages, starting with the objective test scheduled for June 23rd. Candidates will be assessed in subjects such as Portuguese Language, Mathematics, English Language and Writing.
In addition to the written test, the process includes steps such as Health Inspection, Psychological Aptitude Examination, Physical Fitness Assessment Test, Complementary Heteroidentification Procedure and document validation.
