The largest gastronomy school in the world, Le Cordon Bleu in partnership with Faetec Rio, offers free scholarships

“These scholarships are a unique opportunity for those passionate about cooking to have an immersion in learning at one of the largest culinary schools in the world. Without a doubt, after this qualification, many doors will open in the job market for students from the state public network", says Dr. Serginho, Secretary of Science, Technology and Innovation.

Check below the requirements to participate in the selection process and guarantee your scholarship from the partnership between Faetec and the Le Cordon Bleu School of Gastronomy, in Rio de Janeiro

Vacancies for scholarships are intended for candidates with a family income of up to four minimum wages and who come from the public education network of Rio de Janeiro.

The admission process will consist of a public lottery, carried out by the Federal Lottery, scheduled for February 10th, an objective test and a technical aptitude test applied by Le Cordon Bleu.

To register, the candidate must be between 18 and 35 years old, have their own CPF and present a declaration of hyposufficiency. Those drawn will have to take objective tests in Portuguese and Mathematics, on February 23rd. Those approved will also take a specific skill test at Le Cordon Bleu, on the 27th of this month.

The certification of the Cordon Tec course will be issued by the traditional culinary institute together with Faetec. Lasting 12 months, training provides the skills and knowledge necessary for the professional to develop skills both in the kitchen and in the pastry. The student will receive the same techniques as the classic courses at the Culinary School, with the difference that students are trained to work in restaurants, hotels, catering services, clubs, pubs, cafes and pastry shops.
