The Federal Institute of Brasília (IFB) has open registration for 300 places in technical courses along with secondary education for young people and adults who have only completed primary education. Proeja (Technical Courses Program along with High School for Young People and Adults) offers a unique opportunity for those who wish to obtain a high school diploma and a professional qualification simultaneously, according to the website Correio Braziliense.
Unlike other selection processes, There is no test for admission to courses of Proeja of the Federal Institute of Brasília, and registration is free. Interested parties must register at the campus of interest to apply for one of the available places.
Financial support from the federal government
A new feature this year is the financial support offered by the Federal Government to Proeja students. Each student selected for the vacancies will receive a training grant worth R$ 220,00 per month, aimed at helping with expenses during the course.
Course vacancies vary in duration from two and a half to three years, all taught at night and in person. In addition to technical training and secondary education, the IFB offers opportunities in research, extension and special programs student assistance.
