The government of Bahia, in partnership with Senai, is offering a professional qualification course to prepare those interested in participating in the selection process of Chinese automaker BYD, in Camaçari, in the Metropolitan Region of Salvador. Check out the details and how to sign up.
In the first stage, 500 places for four free courses offered by the National Industrial Learning Service (Senai) of Camaçari. The workload varies from 200 to 260 hours, depending on the course chosen. The course is an opportunity for those who want work at BYD in areas like vehicle production operator, production line assistant, industrial machine maintenance mechanic and quality inspector.

You can sign up workers without occupation, registered at Sine agencies and beneficiaries of public policies of work and income. Those selected will receive uniforms, teaching materials, transportation and snacks during the course.

Registration for BYD courses in Bahia started this Wednesday (27) and can be done on the digital channels of the Secretariat of Labor, Employment, Income and Sport (Setre) and the National Employment System (SineBahia).

BYD, a global giant in electrified vehicles and clean energy, is about to open nine photovoltaic solar plants in partnership with Raízen Gera Developer, a joint venture between Raízen and the Gera Group. The plants, located in the states of Ceará, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Norte and Pará, will begin generating energy in May, contributing significantly for the country's sustainable energy matrix, according to the Revista Oe website.
With a total capacity of 26,5 Megawatts (MW), the project will have a significant impact, being able to supply 5.500 homes monthly, benefiting more than 27 thousand people. The plants' solar energy generation will be integrated into the electrical grid, shared with Raízen's own businesses and partners, resulting in savings on energy bills.
