Innovative partnership for electric mobility

A new era in electric mobility is about to be inaugurated by Rede Graal, in partnership with ABB Eletrificação. Together, they are introducing an innovative electric vehicle charging network in several regions of Brazil, including São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro, Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul. This collaboration marks a significant milestone for electric vehicle drivers , offering them ultra-fast and semi-fast recharging options.

Advanced charging technology

Rede Graal, with the support of ABB, is implementing 10 ultra-fast charging stations and 31 semi-fast chargers. These ABB Terra 124CC chargers are capable of refueling a vehicle in less than 30 minutes. Furthermore, they can charge two vehicles simultaneously, sharing 120kW@920VDC power. This cutting-edge technology is not only efficient but also exciting as it is the same used in the ABB FIA Formula E Championship.

Drivers will also have access to ABB’s 22kW Terra AC wallbox chargers, providing an enhanced user experience. The entire infrastructure is aligned with international standards and Brazilian standards, ensuring a reliable and safe charging solution.

Connectivity and Sustainability

In addition to offering efficient charging technology, ABB chargers feature internet connectivity and cloud management tools. All of this is monitored by Grupo Graal and its partners, ensuring a hassle-free recharge experience for users.

Wilson Morais, director of products and solutions for ABB's E-Mobility division, highlights the relevance of this technology, the same one that drives ABB FIA Formula E, now available to Brazilian drivers. With more than 1 million chargers sold globally, ABB establishes itself as a leader in the electric vehicle infrastructure sector.

On the other hand, Nivaldo Junior, New Business Manager at Grupo Graal, highlights the company's commitment to expanding the charging network, meeting the growing demands for sustainable mobility in Brazil. He expresses pride in being part of this movement towards the future of electric mobility.

This partnership between Rede Graal and ABB represents a big step towards electric mobility in Brazil. With the growing adoption of electric vehicles, these initiatives are fundamental to ensuring adequate charging infrastructure, promoting a more sustainable and efficient future for everyone.
