The Honda Pop 110i, the cheapest motorcycle in Brazil, hits the market in May costing less than R$10. Honda's cheap motorcycle received some improvements such as electric start and performance. Check it out!

The cheapest motorcycle in Brazil, the Honda Pop 110i, has interesting new features in the 2025 model. The 'scooter' received a new engine, an electric start and a rotary gearbox with a semi-automatic clutch, the same as the Biz. Therefore, the new 'cheap Honda motorcycle' gained power and torque and became more practical and comfortable. With the changes, the Honda Pop 2025 will also comply with the fifth phase of Promot, a pollutant emission program, which will make new motorcycles pollute less.

Honda Pop 110i 2025 will arrive in May with a suggested public price of R$9.690

Despite important changes to the engine and gearbox, Honda's cheap motorcycle has not undergone any changes to its design. The only visual difference to the old model are the graphics, with the inscription ES (electric start), and the Honda name on the front fairing.

According to the Japanese manufacturer, Pop, cheapest motorcycle in Brazil and best-selling in 2023, aims to be an affordable model, therefore, any change could impact the final price for the consumer.

The good news is that, despite having evolved, the price of the model has increased by just over R$100. The Honda Pop 110i 2025 hits stores in May with suggested public price of R$9.690.

The price does not include shipping and other fees. With fairings and colors identical to the previous model, Honda's low-cost motorcycle features the engine as its main change. Despite the piston having a smaller diameter and longer stroke (47 mm x 63,1 mm), the cubic capacity did not change. In this way, the single cylinder maintained the same cubic capacity of 109,1 cm³.

Cheapest motorcycle in Brazil runs 49,5 km/liter

Despite everything, the performance of the new Honda Pop 110i 2025 has been improved. Powered by electronic injection, the single-cylinder produces 5% more power – 8,43 hp at 7.250 rpm – and 6% more torque – 0,94 hp at 5 revolutions – than the old one. According to Honda, fuel consumption has not increased. The model does 49,5 km/liter of gasoline, as its engine is not flex.

Another very welcome novelty is the electrical item. The old model still had the obsolete and impractical pedal start. Created in 2007 to be an affordable mobility option, Pop quickly became a sales success. Replacing bicycles and 'donkeys' in the most remote places, the scooter has a simple but robust design. Another feature is its low weight and ease of piloting.

Honda Pop 110i 2025 is even easier to drive

In the 2025 model, the dry weight of the most affordable motorcycle in Brazil remained at 87 kg, but the pop became even easier to ride. Instead of a conventional clutch, the scooter gained a semi-automatic centrifugal clutch. This way, there is no clutch lever, just step on the gearshift pedal to change gears, all down.

The five-speed gearbox on Honda's cheap motorcycle is now also rotary. In practice, this means that, when stopping at traffic lights, for example, the driver can change from fourth to first gear, just by pressing the pedal down.

The gearbox and clutch assembly is the same as that used in the honda biz 110 and Biz 125. As it is a simple project, focused on reducing production and maintenance costs, the Honda Pop 110i 2025 maintained the spartan cycling package.
