In ES, on July 7, Imetame Energia consolidated its stake in the Espírito Santo Basin in assets formerly owned by Petrobras. The objective of this important acquisition is to increase production, since it had been falling and the state-owned company ended up losing interest in Brazil's onshore assets.
The Brazilian company will operate at the Lagoa Parda Complex, in the city of Linhares. The sale value was US$9.372.466,00 to be divided into 2 installments and were subject to approval by the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE) and ANP (National Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuel Agency).
