With a strong presence in Brazil and the world in the oil and gas sector, Shell is requesting a reservoir engineer for Rio de Janeiro

The year 2020 has been marked by hiring, mainly in the oil and gas sector. This time, the giant Shell announced that it is recruiting a reservoir engineer for its office in Rio de Janeiro. Check out some of the vacancy features below.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a technical field with a minimum of 6 years reservoir engineering experience or PhD will be considered as 3 years experience; Demonstrable and verifiable mentoring or training capability;

Clear skills in advanced subsurface modeling, reservoir simulation, material balance, integrated production system modeling, pressure transient analysis, PVT, and general forecasting principles are required; In-depth knowledge of Field Development Planning, Integrated Reservoir Modeling and Project Maturation is highly advantageous; Waterflood management experience is advantageous;

Knowledge of business planning activities and general booking reporting processes; Familiarity with HSE aspects in large projects and deep water environment; Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work well in a diverse, multidisciplinary and virtual team environment.
