Buzz is equipped with multiple features such as Autonomous Emergency Braking, known by the acronym AEB (Autonomous Emergency Brake), which in the model also features the function of detecting pedestrians and cyclists, and Active Lane Change Assistant (Lane Assist).

Volkswagen notes that the ID. Buzz is well-equipped as standard, featuring the 77 kWh (82 kWh gross) lithium-ion battery pack – the largest available on any ID line model to date – plus a rear-axle-mounted electric motor capable of providing 150 kW (204 hp) of power and 31,6 kgfm of torque.

The electric Kombi has 'Travel Assist with Swarm Data', with traffic data and autonomous parking. In practice, the largest vehicle manufacturer on the planet shows that it values not only quality and comfort but also safety.

Among other items on the safety list, the German automaker equips the electric Kombi with front, side and curtain airbags.

The darling of the world surprised in the safety tests promoted by Euro NCAP and managed to reach the maximum level of safety, receiving five stars, with a margin of 92% of efficiency in the category “Protection of adult occupants”. The result is due to the robust structure of the vehicle and the brand new safety systems and functions prized by Volkswagen.

Don't worry, the electric Kombi will soon be sold in Brazil. Volkswagen has already made presentations of the model here and has already included other vehicles from the ID Family., such as the all-electric ID.3 and ID.4, in the Way to Zero program schedule for the domestic market.

Chinese automaker clones Volkswagen's iconic Kombi shortly after shamelessly manufacturing an electric copy of the Beetle

Chinese industry still hasn't abandoned some old habits, and the multinational Volkswagen was not at all happy with the electric car manufacturer ORA, which is part of the Great Wall Motors group. The brand recently presented a Beetle clone at the Shanghai Motor Show. Named ORA Punk Cat, the vehicle has the same traits as the iconic VW car. As if that weren't enough, another Chinese automaker, SongSang Motors, made a clone of the iconic Kombi. Will it give "mango cloth"?

The Chinese automaker has launched a new model inspired by an existing one. In this case, it is the SongSang Motors which presented the SS Summer, a van with a retro design clearly based on the Volkswagen Kombi or Type 2.

You can see it in the video below that ORA was inspired – not to say that it blatantly copied – the traits of the Volkswagen Beetle in its new Punk Cat. The hood with a curved design, the rounded headlights and the rear design, complete with oval taillights, refer to the old beetle.
