The duration of Oceaneering's offshore BOP contract with Petrobras is one year with an option to extend for an additional year. The scope of work includes data acquisition and real-time riser analysis for offshore dynamic positioning platform operations for up to seven wells in water depths between 150 m and 700 m.
An Anchor Handling Tug (AHTS) supply vessel will launch and install the suction piles and tensioners. The drill rig will be used to connect the turnbuckles to the BOP.
