In an official statement by the companies yesterday (18) on the Oslo stock exchange, a major cycle of partnership with Petrobras for Pipelay works and maritime operations with 6 vessels is closed

DOF Subsea and TechnipFMC announced that the Skandi Olinda, a Brazilian flag flexible vessel owned by the joint venture formed between DOF (50%) and TechnipFMC (50%), commenced her 8-year contract with Petróleo Brasileiro SA (Petrobras).

Under the DOF/TechnipFMC joint venture agreement, TechnipFMC will manage the flexible pipelay and DOF will be responsible for marine operations.

* Contracted capacity of 300 tons
** ROV: remotely operated vehicle

This event was first announced on the Oslo Stock Exchange via a press release at 22:30, 18.02.2019.

Comments from the CEO's of the companies

CEO of DOF Subsea, Mons S. Aase, said: “The extensive newbuild program of 4 PLSVs together with TechnipFMC has combined the subsea and vessel expertise across our organisations. Arnaud Pieton, President Subsea at TechnipFMC, commented: “We are delighted to have the Skandi Olinda join our fleet of specialist vessels. This new charter contract with Petrobras reinforces our commitment to the development of the Brazilian market and our extensive experience in ultra-deep water pipelines”.
