Focus Energia's Futura project will be the largest solar power plant under construction with bifacial modules, generating around 8 jobs
Focus Energia, an integrated energy business platform, reported that in the first phase of the Futura Project – construction of a solar energy park in Bahia - around 8 job opportunities could be generated in the construction of the enterprise. The start of works is scheduled for April this year and the start of commercial operation of the plant is scheduled for the first half of 2022.
The solar energy park x generation of jobs in Bahia
The park is about 40 kilometers from the municipality of Juazeiro, in the state of Bahia. Upon completion of the project, its total capacity will be approximately 852 MWp, with an estimated investment of more than 2,2 billion reais, which will boost the region's economy by creating jobs in the works.
Taking into account the environmental licenses issued, the first phase of the project will have around 2.000 hectares of land for the implementation of 22 parks, each with 38,73 MWp. It is estimated that more than 8.000 direct and indirect jobs will be generated during construction.
