Graphene is a revolutionary material for conducting energy and data. The application of this metal in solar roofs, adding other technologies that the company from Rio de Janeiro has been working on, are real potential for generating electricity through solar energy and sustainability.

According to the CEO of telite em exclusive interview to the CPG portal, Leonardo Retto, each 3.8 cm tablet of the company's technology, generates 4.5Kwh per month in full sun and 2.8 in cloudy weather or only with thermal sensation. Therefore, considering that the Solar Tile is 1,90 x 1,10, it is possible to place 50 tablets, reaching up to 225 KWh of solar energy in a month per solar tile with graphene.

It so happens that graphene is able to get involved in a phenomenon of friction of the electrons applied in the technology, causing them to generate energy even in the rain. Watch some videos with the Telite manufacturing process below:

This material is 200 times stronger than diamond, a million times thinner than a strand of hair and 100 times more data conductor than current devices. In other words, superior to any material currently known on the market. Therefore, the graphene solar tile promotes a perfect combination of energy generation with sustainability through solar energy, which is renewable and clean.

Solar tile: a technological product for a sustainable future and for all social classes

Sustainability through practices that do not negatively affect nature also contributes to social improvement among all classes. This is the concept of sustainability that must be achieved by countries linked to the United Nations by 2030.

One of the main actions is to eradicate dependence on fossil fuels and adopt clean energy generation, such as solar energy, which is free, clean and easy to capture here in Brazil.

The graphene solar tile comes in the same line as the conventional plastic colonial tile. Leonardo Retto is democratic when he tells our report that the manufacture of this product is for all classes.

“We believe due to the already anticipated demand that we will scale the market quickly, as several companies in the conventional solar panel sector have also been looking for us to resell our product, this is already an indicator of the market itself”, says the businessman.

Currently, Telite's graphene solar tile is in the process of being certified by Inmetro and Aneel. Soon, there will be the announcement of a multinational as a partner.

International partnerships aim access to solar energy

According to Leonardo Retto, Telite has received an average of 250 e-mails from people interested in buying a solar tile with graphene. In addition, meetings were held with eight countries, including the United States, Japan, Chile and Portugal, in addition to Mexico, where energy storage is not allowed, but it is believed that it is possible to work with the hybrid system.

“Telite is already manufacturing its own solar tile with graphene in the polymer. And in the near future, the tile will already be the main conductor without the need for any attached device. This is already a reality in our production, which was achieved through the partnership with this great Brazilian multinational” highlights Leonardo Retto..

How Graphene Solar Roofing Works for Small Businesses

Solar energy can be an ally in the recovery of the economy. In addition to the issue of sustainability, the photovoltaic modality brings savings in the electricity bill, especially in the distributed generation system.

Having already demystified this thing that solar energy is something for rich people, the solar tile with graphene is easy to install. The product, measuring 1,90 x 1,10, weighing only 5 KG, has a durability of 80 years.

“About 40% lower cost, much easier maintenance and installation, the highest generation per square meter, and a highly sustainable product with clean energy coupled. It is what the new consumer is looking for”, points out Leonardo Retto.
