Category Wants Compliance with ACT Clauses and Determines Temporary Suspension to Pressure Petrobras to Comply with Measures
The announcement of the strike was formalized yesterday (21) by the Unified Federation of Oil Workers (FUP) to Petrobras and Transpetro. The indication of the suspension was approved by 61% of the votes and is established for a limited time, starting next Monday, the 25th, until Friday, the 29th. The assemblies also approved by 89%, in addition to the strike indication, the FUP’s claim list for compliance with clauses 41 and 86 of the ACT, regarding staffing and employability, and clause 73, regarding the abolition of the use of SMS targets as criteria for employee evaluation. The Labor Public Prosecutor’s Office filed the request.

The union announced that it will disclose guidelines for the category regarding strike procedures today (22) at 7:30 PM, on Face to Face. The Sindipetro NF (Union of Oil Workers of Northern Fluminense) calls on the entire category to be present in the strike movement and emphasizes its decisive importance for the survival of Petrobras, jobs, and workers’ rights. The union has been defending the interests of the category for about 30 years and advocates for all oil sector workers’ interests.
