The world leader Modec seeks this Thursday afternoon, May 21, a professional for the position of Instrumentation Technician to work in an offshore opportunity

Employment opportunity to join the offshore team of the multinational MODEC. The Japanese company is looking for an Instrumentation Technician with an active CFT, this May 21st. The company has been constantly announcing onshore and offshore vacancies to serve its projects in Brazil.

Requirements

Requirements

  • Technical graduation
  • active CFT
  • Advanced English
  • Previous process plant experience

To perform functions such as:

  • Perform maintenance activities to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all instruments in the facility;
  • Assist with other tasks as requested by the I&C Supervisor or Instrumentation Supervisor (where applicable);
  • Carry out verification rounds at the facility and report any perceived defects;
  • Perform relevant maintenance and calibration tasks for all instruments in the facility;
  • Perform tasks relevant to the maintenance of all automation and electronic equipment and systems; carry out verification rounds in areas of machinery and equipment attachment on deck and report any defects noticed; Assist in the rectification of all known defects; Assist with other tasks as requested by the I&C Supervisor;
  • Responsible for testing, calibrating and maintaining all instruments in the facility: Pressure Transmitters, Level Transmitters, RTDs, Flow Transmitters, etc.;
  • Responsible for calibrating and testing the Gas and Fire System of the installation;
  • Responsible for testing, calibrating and maintaining all ESDVs, BDVs and other on-off valves in the facility.
