The State University of Maranhão (UEMA) is open for registration for thousands of vacancies in free online EAD professional qualification courses  

The State University of Maranhão (UEMA) has 2,6 vacancies in free EAD courses with Initial and Continuing Education (FIC) titles. Applications will be open until the 17th of next month. The University aims to promote the entry of citizens into the job market through free online distance learning professional qualification courses. Vacancies follow the rules defined by the National Program for Access to Technical Education and Employment (PRONATEC).

Campus benefited from free online and distance learning courses  

The 2,6 vacancies made available by UEMA, are for residents of the following municipalities in Maranhão: Alcântara, Arari, Axixá, Apicum-açu, Barreirinhas, Bequimão, Cantanhede, Cajapió, Humberto de Campos, Itapecuru Mirim, Icatu, Nina Rodrigues, Penalva, Pinheiro, Palmeirândia, Rosário, Santa Rita, São Bento, Santo Amaro do Maranhão, São José de Ribamar, Tutóia, Viana, São Luís, Água doce do Maranhão, Brejo, Alto Alegre do Pindaré, Buriticupu, Caxias, Carutapera, Chapadinha, Colinas, Duque Bacelar, Coroatá, Governador Edson Lobão, Imperatriz, Governador Nunes Freire, Lago da Pedra, Paraibano Lago do Mato, Santa Inês, Pindaré Mirim, Santa Quitéria, São João do Sóter, Timon, Turiaçu, Zé Doca and Vitorino Freire.  

Vacancies in courses are divided into courses for Administrative Assistant, Human Resources Assistant and Event Receptionist. It is worth mentioning that, for each municipality, 35 vacancies are being made available, with the exception of São Luís and São José de Ribamar, which have 70 vacancies each.

Human resources assistant

This administrative assistant course has 910 available places and prepares students to work in an HR sector, collaborating with various administrative processes aimed at selecting stages of recruitment and training of new employees.  

event receptionist

With 840 places, this course prepares participants to work in different types of events, helping both execution against promotion and planning. The contents of free course and e-learning Human Resources teach participants how to host an event by providing information, directing guests to the right location and carrying out accreditation.  

Administrative assistant

With 875 vacancies, this training aims to train professionals to work with administrative routines such as organizing files, answering the phone, preparing reports, preparing spreadsheets and in addition, students will also learn to provide support for HR activities, logistics, production, finance and sales.

How to apply for the UEMA selection process?  

To participate in UEMA's free online qualification courses, candidates must have completed elementary school 2 (from the sixth to the ninth year) and be aged 15 years or over. In addition, having an e-mail and internet access are necessary requirements to participate in the courses.

Entries can be made by through the official UEMA website. They have been open since the 23rd of this month and will remain open until the 17th of next month. It is worth mentioning that the university does not charge any fee to participate in the selection process.

To participate in the simplified selection process, you will need data such as: Identity document with photo, CPF, RG, certificate or diploma of completion of Elementary School 2, proof of residence in one of the municipalities mentioned above and RG and CPF of those responsible for those candidates who are under 18 years old. The final result of the selection process will be announced on May 2nd of this year and classes are expected to start on the 6th of the month.
