UFMA has 10 open positions in free online and distance learning courses focused on doctors, nurses and other health professionals who work with the rehabilitation of people with disabilities.

A Federal University of Maranhao (UFMA) announced this Monday (01) the opening of new registrations for free online and e-learning courses on Introduction to Strategic Management and Planning tools for managers of Rehabilitation Services. The university says it has 10 vacancies open for this year. As well as the course, registration can be carried out free of charge, and the training aimed at anyone interested in the subject addressed.

The free course offered by UFMA is aimed at professionals who work in the SUS and public hospitals, who are involved in the rehabilitation of people with disabilities, such as doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech therapists, social workers, psychologists , nutritionists, managers of rehabilitation services, dentists, among others.

The total duration of the training is 30 hours and upon completion of the course, the UFMA will still provide a free certificate for student. The deadline to take the free online and EAD courses is from December 21, 2022 to June 30 of this year through UNA-SUS platform.

Among the subjects covered in the UFMA formation are the following topics: assistance in rehabilitation services focused on people with disabilities, competitive advantage, the fundamentals of strategic management, strategy formulation and implementation, sectoral analysis, evaluation and control, critical factors of the success and SWOT analysis, balanced scorecard (BSC) strategic management systems and management indicators.

Enrollments in the free online and EAD courses were opened by the Directorate of Technologies in Education (DTED/UFMA), through the Open University of Sus of the Federal University of Maranhão (UNA-SUS/UFMA), alongside the Ministry of Health.

Those interested in enrolling in the free online and distance learning courses can enroll until May 30 of this year, exclusively through the UNA SUS Portal. To register, you will need to fill in data such as your full name, date of birth, mother's name, CPF, email, among other information.

It is important to emphasize that through training it will be possible to learn about the tools for the management and planning of actions and services in the administrative process in the health sector, so that the knowledge developed can positively impact the provision of assistance in rehabilitation services with a focus on disabled people.

In this course, it will be possible to access the material for the classes in PDF, Interactive Infographic, Multimedia Resource, Questionnaire and E-Book. It is important to mention that, in order to obtain the certification, the student must reach an average equal to or greater than 70 in the sum of points obtained in the available evaluation activities. In addition, it will be necessary to complete the Course Evaluation Questionnaire, responding to the Learning Situation (pre and post-test).
