UFRPE Is Offering More Than 2,000 Slots in Free Online Courses in the EAD Modality

The Dom Agostinho Ikas Agricultural College of the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco, through its Distance Education Center (Codai-UFRPE-NEaD), offers 2,000 slots in free EAD courses, distributed across 10 courses, 100% online and free, with a maximum duration of 2 months. Registration will take place starting at 8 a.m. on December 1 and will continue until 10 p.m. on December 15, 2020. UPDATE 12-07-2020: Registrations have been closed; see the statement from the Ministry of Education here.

More Qualified People Amid the Pandemic

With the idea of free EAD courses, UFRPE has been making efforts and presenting qualified professionals with high technical skill levels to society, standing out in the job market, which is emerging with a high degree of competitiveness.

The criteria of the Notice for free courses establish that the candidate must be over 15 years old; enroll in only one of the courses offered and have no restrictions on the Cadastro de Pessoas Físicas (CPF). Enrollment is restricted to students with active registrations in Technical Courses or FIC of NEaD/CODAI/UFRPE or enrolled in courses at other Institutions funded by Bolsa-formação.

People from all Brazilian municipalities can enroll in the free courses exclusively at the address: http://ava.nead.codai.ufrpe.br/ in one of the 10 courses: Environmental Inspection Assistant; Dairy Products Producer; School Nutrition Assistant; Administrative Assistant; Human Resources Assistant; Individual Microentrepreneur (MEI); Illustrator; Graphic Projects Editor; Event Planner and Organizer.

Those interested in participating in the process do not need to have completed elementary and/or high school for some courses, except for the Event Organizer course, which requires a high school diploma, as specified above.
