Danish manufacturer to supply V162-6,2 MW EnVentus turbines for 254 MW wind project in Australia in Q4 2024, including EPC and 30-year service contract.

Vestas has been chosen to supply 41 V162-6,2 MW turbines from the EnVentus platform for an undisclosed wind project in Australia, totaling a 254 MW contract. The company will also be responsible for the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of the hardware, in addition to undertaking a 30-year service contract. The turbines are expected to be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2024, with commissioning scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2025. The name of the project and the customers involved remain confidential.
