Ilmatar has placed a firm order with Vestas for the Pahkakoski project, located 60 km from the city of Oulu in Finland. The contract includes the supply, delivery, and commissioning of 30 V162-6.2 MW wind turbines. Upon completion, Vestas will provide support for the turbines under a 30-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service contract designed to ensure optimized asset performance. Nils de Baar, President of Vestas Northern & Central Europe, highlighted the importance of the Pahkakoski project for collaboration with Ilmatar.
