CMT Paulo Roberto Carvalho who was on the ship João Candido. Transpetro workers had already been worrying about the situation for some months
One of the biggest fears of Transpetro workers about covid-19, as the CPG has been publicizing for some time, is the issue of safety on board the subsidiary's ships with regard to the transmission rate of the virus and the measures to avoid it.
Unfortunately, on November 16th, CMT Paulo Roberto Carvalho died. He was crowded on the ship João Candido when he was contaminated by the virus. Just below, a video was made in his honor on the ship Dragão do Mar in the form of a LONG WHISTLE, check it out:
- Outsourced workers on board Transpetro ships are contaminating crew members, say seafarers demanding safety measures against covid 19
- Transpetro seafarers threaten strike and TST enters into negotiations with unions
- Fuel leak from a ship at the Transpetro terminal in the Port of Santos causes panic
- Crew members of the Transpetro oil tanker, the Carlos Drummond de Andrade, were diagnosed with covid-19 and Anvisa isolates the unit
According to Transpetro in previous notes, all security measures on board its maritime units have been taken, together with state health surveillance agencies.
Employees, on the other hand, report that employees of outsourced companies do not quarantine before boarding ships, nor do tests for the detection of covid-19.
