Multinational Volkswagen offers 3718 places in free blended professional qualification courses, in the areas of mechanical, electrical, refrigeration maintenance and more

The largest vehicle manufacturer on the planet, Volkswagen invites young people who are interested in joining the industry. In all, there are more than 3000 vacancies in free professional qualification courses, in the “Carretas do Conhecimento” project, offered in partnership with SENAI – PR. These carts are mobile units capable of becoming classrooms, workshops and professional training spaces. See below how to secure your spot!

New classes were formed yesterday (04/10) and there will be course options available until March 2022. For the time being, classes will be offered in the blended model with online theoretical classes and practical face-to-face activities.

In all, more than 3.718 free places are offered in 104 classes and 36 locations in Paraná and the courses range from mechanics and baking to sewing and IT.

Students will receive 4G chips, to guarantee prior access to the internet and be able to participate in online classes

The teacher will hold the class online (live), directly from the Cart of Digital Knowledge. Each student will follow the class from home, using the 4G chip provided by SENAI, through a dedicated platform, for a better experience. The theoretical 75% of the courses will be done in the Connected (online) format, in which the professor, in addition to teaching theory, will demonstrate all the practical part on the same equipment that students would use in the Cart of Knowledge;

The practical part of the courses, which comprises 25%, will be carried out in the Carts of Knowledge. On the first day of practical class, a quick test for COVID detection will be carried out in all students. The result of this test is provided in minutes, thus releasing the student for the practical activity. Even with the quick test, it is mandatory to follow the hygiene and safety protocol of the FIEP System, which provides for the temperature measurement of each student, mandatory use of a mask, use of 70% gel alcohol, among other precautions, to mitigate the risks of contagion.

• Confection
• Automotive mechanics
• Motorcycle Maintenance
• Automotive Electricity
• Industrial Mechanics
• Residential Refrigeration

Requirements:

• Be over sixteen years of age, demonstrably*;
• Self-declaration of at least complete elementary school education;
• Basic computer knowledge;
• Possess a smartphone or have access to the internet.

* Those interested under the age of eighteen will only be enrolled in the afternoon classes.
