The recently inaugurated branch of the Wilson Sons company in Recife is already providing various logistics and maritime agency services for ships, such as in the Port of Suape, and is part of the company's expansion project in the national port market.

The Wilson Sons company continues with its growth plan in the logistics sector of Brazilian ports and has inaugurated another branch in Recife. Now, for this Wednesday, (15/06), the logistics and maritime agency services for ships in the region continue to proceed as planned, with several deals closed with vessels of the state's ports, such as the Port of Suape, aiming at more efficiency in maritime transport operations.

Wilson Sons is one of the largest companies in the field of maritime and port transport in the world and has a strong presence in the Brazilian market, due to the port handling potential that the country has.

Thus, the company seeks to grow more and more in the national territory and, during the month of May, opened another branch in the country, now in the state of Recife, aiming to attract business in the northeastern region. 

In addition to this new branch in the northeastern state, Wilson Sons operates another 18 branches in the main Brazilian ports, in addition to maintaining exclusive representatives in Europe and its own office in China. And, after a long analysis of the Recife region, where the company operated only in partnership with a local representative, the company decided to build its own branch in the region.

This is because the port logistics company saw a strong regional demand for shipping agency services for ships from northeastern ports, thus ensuring a new public in the state.

Thus, the company now focuses on offering logistics and maritime agency services for ships in the region. Among the various services provided by Wilson Sons, the main ones are: commercial representation for shipowners, shipping documentation, logistical solutions for equipment, scheduling vessels with regular (liner) and non-regular (tramp) stopovers, documentation for maritime transport services and demurrage control (container return time).

With this, the Recife port market will be able to take advantage of the possibility of new contracts with the logistics company. 

Company guarantees expansion in maritime agency contracts for ships in the state of Recife with the opening of a new branch in the region

Even with little time since the inauguration of its new branch in the state of Recife, Wilson Sons has already achieved a strong demand in the area and closed some contracts with ships from Recife. During the last month alone, the company signed a contract with three vessels that operated diesel and steel products at the Port of Suape, and soda, at Recife.

In addition to two other ships during the month, for the provision of husbandry services, focused on the shipowner's needs, such as changing crew members and supplying parts and food on board.

Thus, Ludwig Silva, coordinator of agency operations at the branch, celebrated the new port logistics services in the region: “The five calls, in this first month of operation, are a true milestone and prove the potential of Pernambuco, which has shown itself to be a very promising state. We see Recife and Suape as strategic for Wilson Sons' business and we hope to contribute to the development of the region, serving clients with the quality standard of the largest agency in Brazil”.
