2020 has barely started and vacancies are at full steam, whether for work or, in this case, professional courses! check out

The Technical School Support Foundation (faetec), linked to the State Secretariat for Science, Technology and Innovation (Secti), opened 29.371 vacancies for free vocational courses, with more than 90 course options.

According to the president of Faetec, Romulo Massacesi, “We want to guarantee broad access to the Network's professional courses, facilitating the guarantee of better job chances for the entire population of Rio de Janeiro”.

Vacancies are available in more than 80 units throughout the state of Rio de Janeiro, totaling 29.371 thousand vacancies. Registration for courses is done only through the Faetec website, until January 26, 2020.

Among the course options are: Waiter; Baker; light car mechanic; computer operator; intermediate piano; beginner and intermediate English, receptionist in lodging facilities; hairdresser, among others. Courses last between 10 and 20 weeks.

To apply, interested parties must be between 14 and 18 years old, depending on the requirements of each course. The required education will also vary according to the chosen course.

Vacancies will be drawn on January 27th and the complete list of lucky ones will be published on the institution's website. Enrollment will take place from the 28th to the 31st of January and classes will begin on the 10th of February.

Candidates can apply in cities such as Barra Mansa; Fields; Guapimirim; Macaé; Petropolis; Porto Real; Valencia; Saquarema; São José do Vale do Rio Preto; Duke of Caxias; Rio das Flores; Resende; Piraí; Paraíba do Sul and Rio de Janeiro, for example.
