Vacancies in free courses in Recife will remain open until the vacancy limit is exceeded.
A non-profit entity that has links with the Archdiocese of Recife and Olinda Movimento Pró-Criança opens this Tuesday (2) vacancies for new students in free courses. The NGO will provide 225 vacancies in six free courses, children and young people aged between 7 and 17 years. Classes will be held at the NGO's units in Coelhos and Bairro do Recife.

Respecting Covid-19 prevention measures, the forecast is that the start of classes for the new ones will still be in March, with remote classes twice a week. One of the courses will be theater, which will be offered by the Interarte Project, a well-known Pró-Criança initiative that has the support of the Federal Government's Culture Department, through the Rouanet Law. A Pro-Child NGO offers classes of complementary activities in the morning and afternoon periods.
Registration for free courses in Recife
The registration process will be in two stages: via telephone and meeting with the psychosocial sector for interviews and delivery of documentation of the interested party.
In the first phase, the parents and/or guardians of those interested in joining the Coelhos Unit should contact the psychosocial sector via telephone (81) 3412-8952 and provide basic personal data, such as name, address and chosen course. The service will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 8 am to 16:30 pm.
As for the Recife Antigo Unit, registration begins on Thursday (4). Contact can be made by phone (81) 3425.4451 or WhatsApp (81) 98802.9576. The service channels will be available from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 16:30 pm. Enrollments can be made throughout the month of March.
Documentation
The person responsible for the interested party must submit copies of the following documents:
- ID;
- CPF;
- Proof of address.
In addition to the documents of the interested party's guardian, the young person's personal documents must also be presented, along with the school statement, SUS card and a 3×4 photo.
