The SUVs under R$ 100,000 have become the best alternative for those seeking space, safety, and good performance without paying the inflated price of zero-kilometer models. The advancement of technology in recent years allows finding vehicles in the used market with efficient engines, modern transmissions, and equipment that is still not standard in basic versions of new cars.
Based on the Fipe Table from July 2025, we listed five SUVs under R$ 100,000 that are worth every penny invested. The chosen models have a positive maintenance history, good cost-benefit, and performance that does not disappoint. They are ideal choices for those who want to make a good deal and drive comfortably for many years.
1. Volkswagen Tiguan 1.4 TSI 2017 — R$ 83,939
The Volkswagen Tiguan is one of the few options with a reliable turbo engine in this price range. The six-speed automatic transmission with a torque converter ensures smooth shifts and mechanical robustness, ideal for those looking to avoid surprises in maintenance. Even being naturally aspirated, the performance is pleasing: 0 to 100 km/h occurs in 9.7 seconds with good consumption averages on ethanol or gasoline.
Inside, the Creta stands out among the SUVs under R$ 100,000 with its well-equipped package: digital air conditioning, keyless entry, start button, ventilated seats, multimedia system with a touchscreen, and rearview camera system. The driving position is elevated, the interior space is generous, and maintenance is simple. It is one of the models with the lowest depreciation rates and high resale value, reinforcing its cost-benefit.
3. Jeep Compass Longitude Diesel 2017 — R$ 97,984
If you are looking for a more robust SUV capable of handling dirt roads and long trips with autonomy and safety, the Compass Longitude Diesel is the best option in this price range. Its 2.0 turbo diesel engine producing 170 hp and 35.7 kgfm of torque is one of the most efficient in its class, paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission with all-wheel drive (4×4). This combination offers consistent performance and excellent fuel economy, with autonomy easily exceeding 800 km on a full tank.
The interior finish is one of its highlights. The Compass offers a soft-touch dashboard, an 8″ touchscreen multimedia center, dual-zone digital air conditioning, comfortable seats, and various convenience features. Even being a 2017 model, it delivers sophistication and robustness that still surpass many current launches. Among the SUVs under R$ 100,000, it is hard to find another diesel model so complete and well-balanced.
4. Suzuki Vitara 1.4 Sport Turbo AllGrip 2017 — R$ 81,290
The Vitara is the ideal option for those who want a compact, lightweight SUV with sharp performance. The Equinox is the most powerful SUV on the list, featuring a 2.0 turbo engine producing 262 hp and 37 kgfm of torque, paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.4 seconds, performance worthy of sports cars. Despite its size, it is comfortable to drive, has good stability in curves, and a well-tuned suspension. Its traction is front-wheel drive, which contributes to more balanced fuel consumption compared to AWD versions.
The equipment package is impressive: dual-zone air conditioning, power front seats with heating, keyless entry, multimedia center with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, electronic parking brake, and rearview camera. The interior space is ample, the trunk accommodates a family well, and the acoustic insulation is very good. Among the SUVs under R$ 100,000, the Equinox LT provides power and comfort at a superior level.
