The Centec Institute has opened 1,672 spots for free vocational courses in Ceará, with in-person options (1,412 spots) and online (260 spots). The courses, which range from Brow Design to NR10 – Electricity Safety, are aimed at individuals over 16 years old residing in the state.

How The Courses At The Centec Institute Work

The Initial And Continuing Education Courses (FIC) have between 40 and 220 hours of workload, combining theory and practice. They focus on strategic areas such as Business Management, Industrial Production, and Technology, with certification recognized by the market. The complete list is available on the Centec website.

Be at least 16 years old;
Meet the educational requirements for the course (e.g., completed elementary education).
In-Person: Enrollments at one of the 32 CVTs (Vocational Technological Centers) in the state.
Online: Registration via the Centec Academy platform, with access to courses such as Excel and Web Development.

Among the most sought-after options are:

NR10 – Electricity Safety (legal requirement for professionals in the field);
Fundamentals Of Web Development (220 hours, with modules in HTML and CSS);
Brow Design (40 hours, focused on entrepreneurship);
Excel Basics (80 hours, with certification in digital spreadsheets).

The Centec Institute has already qualified over 500,000 residents of Ceará in 20 years. In this edition, the spots are distributed in cities such as Fortaleza, Juazeiro do Norte, and Sobral. “Courses like Motorcycle Maintenance and Hospitality meet local demands, generating jobs and income,” explains a representative of the institution.
