“Petrobras has always bothered the competition because its price influences the entire market. If it offers fairer prices, the competition is forced to follow suit. And, of course, they didn't like it, because they saw the profit margin decreasing. Now, forced to follow the prices practiced abroad, Petrobras stops offering fairer prices, as has happened in the past, paving the way for the current abusive prices”, he explains.

For oil tankers, the way to reduce the price of cooking gas and petroleum derivatives would be to put an end to the parity of prices with the international market quotation, in addition to reducing the importation of derivatives and the resumption of works to expand the refineries to meet the internal market and create jobs.
