2. Fiat Cronos 1.3

The Fiat Cronos stands out for its modern design and practicality in urban use. Equipped with a 1.3 Firefly engine, it offers a good balance between performance and economy, achieving up to 12.5 km/l with gasoline in the city. The trunk of 525 liters is one of the largest in its category, making it great for families or app drivers.

In addition, the Cronos has a good supply of parts and uncomplicated mechanics. Manual versions from 2020 are priced starting at R$ 58 thousand on the Fipe Table. 3. Honda Fit 1.5

The Honda Fit is synonymous with versatility. Despite being compact on the outside, it offers one of the best space utilizations in its category on the inside. The version with a 1.5 engine and CVT is particularly economical, achieving up to 16 km/l on the highway. The Fit is valued for Honda’s brand reliability and durability. According to the Fipe Table, 2016 models cost around R$ 51 thousand. For those seeking peace of mind, the Fit is a surefire choice.

4. Renault Logan 1.6

The Renault Logan is known for being robust and spacious. Its biggest asset is the 510-liter trunk and ample interior space. Ideal for those who frequently transport cargo or passengers. The version with a 1.6 engine and manual transmission provides reliable performance and reasonable fuel consumption for a sedan, averaging up to 13 km/l in the city with gasoline.

It’s easy to find used Logans at affordable prices. Versions from 2018 with a 1.6 engine are listed at around R$ 42 thousand on the Fipe Table. It’s worth noting that the Logan is widely used in fleets and apps, which requires attention to the vehicle’s overall condition when purchasing. Nevertheless, it remains one of the most practical and low-maintenance cars for everyday use.

5. Toyota Etios 1.5

The Etios may not be the prettiest car from Toyota, but it is one of the most reliable. With a 1.5 engine and manual or automatic transmission, it delivers satisfactory performance and impressive fuel consumption: up to 15 km/l on the highway with gasoline. Additionally, the mechanics are extremely simple and rarely present problems.

Even though it has been discontinued, the Etios remains an excellent choice for those wanting an economical and durable car. The 2017 hatch version appears in the Fipe for around R$ 43 thousand. It is one of the most honest cars for everyday use on the market, with cheap maintenance and a low depreciation rate.
