The information was disclosed by executive Olivier François, who is in charge of the Fiat, Abarth, and DS Automobiles brands. In an interview with the Italian publication Quattroruote, he detailed the plans for expanding the Fiat lineup in Europe.

The mechanical base and design of the Giga Panda are expected to follow the logic of the European Aircross, which features hybrid and electric powertrains.
Fiat has not yet confirmed which engines will be used, but considering Stellantis’ recent bets, it is possible that the SUV will have a turbo flex option for emerging markets and a 100% electric version for Europe.
Internally, a simple but functional finish is expected, following the trend of accessible vehicles, without giving up on technology.
The dashboard may feature an intuitive multimedia center and a good set of driving assistance features, making driving safer and more practical.
When Will It Hit the Market?
The model was revealed in a mysterious way during the launch of the new Panda.
At the time, Fiat showed a video with blurred images of the seven-seater version and the coupe version, which will possibly replace the Fastback in the future.
Although no official timeline has been released, the SUV is expected to launch in Europe between 2025 and 2026.
In Brazil, the strategy is still uncertain. Fiat may choose to launch the model under a different name, adapting the project to local demands, just as it did with the Fiat Pulse and the Fastback.
The new Fiat 7-Seater SUV is set to be an affordable and versatile option, combining the practicality of the Panda with the technology of the Aircross.
