New Ford car hits the automotive market later this year to compete with giants like the SW4 and S10. Discover all the details of the Ford Everest 2024!
Ford, a famous American brand, is about to launch a new vehicle that promises to shake up the Brazilian automotive market. With the imminent arrival of Ford's new car - Ford Everest 2024, the brand is generating great expectation by suggesting that its next launch will be a real terror for competitors like the SW4, in addition to having a more affordable price than the S10 from Ford. Chevrolet.
New Ford Everest could reach the Brazilian automotive market costing R$ 230 thousand
With apparently ambitious strategies, Ford is planning a launch that aims to not only compete, but annihilate rivals Toyota, Volkswagen and Chevrolet in the segment. This movement promises not only to intensify competition between brands, but also to influence consumer behavior when faced with the options available in the national market.
Previously, Ford avoided discussing the possibility of bringing the Ford Everest, a Seven-seat SUV based on the midsize pickup, similar to the Toyota SW4 and S10, due to the competitive market.
However, according to media reports, for the first time, a test model of the new Ford car was spotted in the country. There is still no official announcement about the price of the Ford Everest 2025 in the country, however, there is an expectation that the vehicle will be launched with a competitive response, with an estimated value of around R$230 thousand.
Ford's new car promises to be a high-performance and quality SUV, ready to compete with other models such as the Toyota SW4, Chevrolet trail blazer, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport and Jeep Commander.
Ford Everest – The Ford car that promises to shake up the global automotive industry
Spotted in Salvador (BA), it is a unit in the Titanium version, running with a green license plate and no camouflage, for example. Its presence in the region makes sense, as Ford still maintains a development center in Camaçari, where its factory was located, currently owned by BYD.
In fact, this new Ford car is a highly anticipated model, especially by the Argentine media, for example. Even before the launch of the new Ranger, in 2021 there was already talk about the possibility of the arrival of the Ford Everest. At the time, the Argentine newspaper Ámbito reported that the brand was already budgeting for parts for the production of the pickup truck and another model, with a focus on completing the plant's idle capacity.
Another fact that supports the arrest and its expectations is a statement made by the CEO of Ford in South America, Daniel Justo, in April 2022, in which he stated that the SUV was under study, and that the factory in General Pacheco would be focused on Ranger and its derivatives. Without directly stating that this would be the model, it neither confirmed nor denied the presence of the SUV in the country.
New Ford car delivers 210 horsepower
The Everest formula would not be strange to the Brazilian market, accustomed to two other SUVs derived from pickup trucks, the Chevrolet Traiblazer and Toyota SW4.
The composition maintains the same platform, engines and much of the bodywork, renewing only a few aesthetic details, differentiating pickup trucks from SUVs. In the Ford Everest, they change the bumper and the entire rear part.
Under the hood, it is possible that the model uses the same engine combinations, with the 2.0 biturbo diesel with 210 horsepower and the 3.0 6 horsepower V250 turbodiesel. In fact, this would put the model at a technical advantage over its rivals, by offering two engine options, for example.
