See The Prices Of The GWM Haval H6, Hybrid Versions, Consumption, Maintenance And Recall. Find Out If The Used GWM Haval H6 Is Worth It In 2026.

The GWM Haval H6 has established itself as one of the main options among hybrid SUVs in Brazil after leading the category’s registrations in 2025, with 31,973 units sold.

Launched in the country in March 2023 and currently produced in Iracemápolis (SP), the model combines technology, performance, and a wide range of versions — factors that strengthen its presence in the used car market.

Currently, the SUV is sold in four versions, with prices ranging from R$ 223 thousand to R$ 325 thousand.

These values directly influence the used car market, making the H6 a competitive alternative within the electrified segment.

Prices And Versions Of The GWM Haval H6

The current lineup consists of four configurations:

  • GWM Haval H6 HEV2 – R$ 223 thousand
  • GWM Haval H6 PHEV19 – R$ 248 thousand
  • GWM Haval H6 PHEV35 – R$ 288 thousand
  • GWM Haval H6 GT 2026 – R$ 325 thousand

This price variation broadens the range of options within the GWM Haval H6, allowing for the discovery of versions with different performance levels and equipment.

Engine Of The Haval H6: Two Types Of Hybrid

One of the SUV’s differentiators is its mechanical diversity.

HEV2: Full Hybrid

The entry-level version, sold for R$ 223 thousand, uses a conventional hybrid system (HEV), which does not need to be recharged from an outlet. The 1.5 turbo engine works with a 1.7 kWh battery.

It delivers 243 hp and 54.5 kgfm of torque. The consumption is 14.7 km/l in the city and 11.4 km/l on the highway, according to Inmetro.

PHEV19: Entry Plug-in

With a price of R$ 248 thousand, the PHEV19 features a 19 kWh battery and an electric range of up to 73 km.

The combined power increases to 326 hp. It is suitable for those with a charging point who want to drive part of the time only in electric mode.

PHEV35 And GT: Performance Focus

The PHEV35 (R$ 288 thousand) version and the GT 2026 (R$ 325 thousand) come with two electric motors and all-wheel drive.

The power reaches 393 hp and the torque 78.7 kgfm. The electric range can reach 119 km, depending on the configuration.

Equipment Boosts The GWM Haval H6

Even in the HEV2 version, the SUV offers a robust package: six airbags, adaptive cruise control, autonomous braking, blind spot alert, head-up display, and a 14.6-inch multimedia center.

It also includes a sunroof, 50W induction charger, power seats, and an audio system with eight speakers.

In the higher versions, there are JBL sound, extra driving modes, and differentiated finish in the GT. This keeps the used GWM Haval H6 attractive in the market.

Space And Comfort Are Strong Points

The model measures 4.70 meters in length and has a wheelbase of 2.73 meters.

The trunk holds 560 liters (515 liters in the GT). Additionally, the acoustic insulation is effective and the suspension prioritizes comfort.

In the 2026 line, there was an improvement in the suspension calibration and steering, making the SUV more stable without losing softness.

Evolution In Finish

The steering wheel, which was criticized in the early versions, has been redesigned in the 2026 line. It now has a flat base and thicker grip.

The internal fittings and materials have also improved, enhancing the perceived quality of the GWM Haval H6.

Predictable Maintenance Helps In The Decision

Before closing a deal on a used GWM Haval H6, it is worth analyzing the post-sale costs.

The SUV comes with five years of total warranty, plus eight years of coverage for the hybrid system, an important point for those concerned about the battery and electric components.

Another positive factor is the fixed-price maintenance schedule up to 40,000 km, which facilitates financial planning:

  • 10,000 km: R$ 1,100.27
  • 20,000 km: R$ 1,100.27
  • 30,000 km: R$ 1,394.70
  • 40,000 km: R$ 1,396.72

In practice, this predictability reduces surprises and helps the buyer estimate future expenses when opting for a hybrid model in the used market.

Attention To Recall History

Among the points that require verification is a recall involving 2025 model units.

According to the manufacturer, a potential failure was identified in the thermostat valve responsible for cooling the high-voltage battery.

If the problem were to manifest, it could cause overheating of the system, leading the vehicle to activate a protection mode that limits power to preserve components.

Therefore, when evaluating a used Haval H6, it is essential to check the vehicle’s history to see if the recall was properly addressed.

This simple check can prevent headaches and ensure more safety in the purchase.

Is It Worth Buying The GWM Haval H6?

The model combines high power, good interior space, onboard technology, and a wide range of versions between R$ 223 thousand and R$ 325 thousand when new.

In the used car market, it can represent an interesting alternative for those looking to enter the hybrid segment with a high level of equipment.

However, it is crucial to analyze the history of maintenance, recall updates, and the battery’s condition before closing a deal.
