Honor, a technology company from China, announced its arrival in Brazil on January 30. The brand responsible for one of the best-selling smartphones in China enters the Brazilian market and promises to bring the world’s thinnest foldable phone. The sale of the world’s thinnest foldable phone and other products in the country is handled by DL, a Brazilian company that is also responsible for the distribution of Xiaomi.
According to the head of operations, Eduardo Garcia, Honor is in a very favorable expansion process, especially considering its market share in Latin America, where growth has already reached 400% year-on-year.

Currently, the devices available from Honor are the X5b Plus (R$1,399), Magic 6 Lite (R$4,499), X7c (R$2,699), Choice Earbuds X5 (R$500), and the Choyce Haylou Watch (R$999). In the coming months, the company promises to launch the Magic V3, the world’s thinnest foldable phone, along with the X6b and Magic 7 Lite phones, and the Pad X8a Lite tablet.

In addition to the new world’s thinnest foldable smartphone, the brand’s competitive advantages include device durability, eye protection screens, and automatic deepfake detection technology, which identifies false content generated by artificial intelligence.
Eduardo emphasizes that this was only possible due to Honor’s extensive capability in research and development, supported by over 9,000 dedicated collaborators. In total, Honor has seven innovation and R&D centers, including the main one located at its headquarters in Shenzhen, China, in addition to institutes in France and Japan.
Returning to the world’s thinnest foldable phone, the Magic V3 was launched abroad for €1,699, equivalent to R$ 12,191 in direct conversion. The model has not yet had a price announced here, but the value is expected to be revealed soon by the Chinese brand.
Main Differentiators of the New Smartphone
Boasting an ultra-thin and sophisticated design, the Honor Magic V3 is considered the world’s thinnest foldable phone. When closed, the device measures only 9.7 millimeters (mm) thick, making it more compact than the Galaxy Z Fold 6, for example, which has 12.1 mm. It is also thinner than its predecessor, the Honor Magic V2.
In addition to being the new thinnest smartphone in the world, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 features premium specifications, including two high-quality screens—one LTPO OLED measuring 7.92 inches and another OLED measuring 6.43 inches.
Designed for multitasking, the Magic V3 is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, plus options of up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage.
