The UMS Safe Concordia vessel docks at the Enseada Shipyard pier, in Maragogipe, Bahia, before heading to the Peregrino field.

As reported by Click Petróleo e Gás on the 05th of August, Prosafe contracted Shipyard Enseada, in Bahia, for repairs to the Safe Concordia flotel for six months.
Therefore, the Enseada Shipyard has just announced that it successfully completed the mooring operation of the vessel at its pier on Tuesday, August 20th. The flotel will remain in Bahia for 6 months before fulfilling the contract with the Norwegian Equinor.

Vinicius Campos, Director of Operations for Prosafe in Brazil, declared that: “We started the operation at first light of day and it was carried out with 100% success. We sailed through the channel and docked safely, without the need for intervention by the two tugboats. We chose the Enseada Shipyard for its operational capacity and commitment to deadlines, as the vessel will be operating in Campo de Peregrino from January 15, 2020”.

According to the Industrial Manager of the Enseada Shipyard, Mario Moura, this was the third maneuver of this nature carried out in less than a year. “We conduct these operations with the shipyard's own team, which allows us to carry out these activities quickly, safely and competitively.”

It is worth remembering that the docking of the UMS Safe Concordia occurred a few days after the departure of another vessel, the SS Norbe VI, owned by Ocyan, which headed to Rio de Janeiro, on August 06th, for its final preparations in order to comply with the service contract with Petrobras.
