This Wednesday (21), Samsung officially announced the arrival of its new discount program in Brazil: the New Galaxy Club. The initiative allows consumers to receive up to 50% of the old phone value back as a direct refund to their bank account when purchasing the new Galaxy S25 Edge. The goal of the program is to facilitate the exchange of used smartphones for a high-end model from the brand, associated with the acquisition of the Samsung Care+ Total Protection service.
What Are the Conditions to Participate in Samsung’s New Galaxy Club
To participate in the refund program of up to 50% of the old phone value, the consumer must purchase:
- One Galaxy S25 Edge, the only eligible model at the moment;
- The Samsung Care+ Total Protection service, with a cost of R$ 1,199 upfront or payable in up to 18 interest-free installments on a credit card.

The refund of up to 50% is conditioned to the exchange for the same model acquired in the program, meaning a new Galaxy S25 Edge. The benefit is linked to the IMEI of the original device and cannot be transferred to other models in the Galaxy line.
How to Receive the Refund of Up to 50% for the Old Phone
To join the New Galaxy Club, the user must:
- Access the official Samsung website or the Samsung Shop app;
- Select the Galaxy S25 Edge and add Samsung Care+ Total Protection to the purchase;
- Complete the purchase together (device + protection service);
- Access the “Smart Exchange” area, also on the official site or app;
- Provide the details of the device purchased via New Galaxy Club and start the exchange process.
The company Assurant, a partner of Samsung in the program, is responsible for evaluating the condition of the old device. If it is in perfect condition, the consumer can receive the maximum refund amount (50%). Damage or signs of excessive use may reduce the refunded amount.
The deadline to request the exchange is 90 days after the issuance of the invoice and up to 18 months from the purchase. Important: the refund is only valid for upgrades within the same line and model.
