Volkswagen Finally Revealed The Long-Awaited New Volkswagen Amarok 2025. With An Updated Design And A Promise To Continue Dominating The Roads For Many Years, This Pickup Arrives Full Of News.

The Volkswagen Amarok 2025 in Brazil came to impress. Production has already started at the Pacheco factory in Argentina, and the first images show a very robust and muscular look. The front is taller and straighter, with a hood full of creases, irregularly shaped headlights connected by an illuminated LED strip, and a large grille cut by a metal strip.

The side retains its rectangular and well-defined wheel arches, with new wheels that can reach up to 19 inches. At the rear, the vertical taillights feature a new internal arrangement, but the bed cover and repositioned logo remain almost unchanged.

Under the hood, the Volkswagen Amarok 2025 maintains the robust 3.0-liter V6 turbo diesel engine, delivering 258 horsepower and paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. This configuration ensures exceptional strength and performance, keeping the pickup ready for any challenge.

Equipment And Safety

The equipment list has also been enhanced. Now, the Amarok can come with adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, and blind-spot monitoring. These features put the pickup on par with its main competitors. Currently, it already has four airbags, front and rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, and automatic headlight activation, but it still lacks some items like keyless entry.

Inside the Volkswagen Amarok 2025, the changes are even more significant. Inspired by the South African version, the interior now features modern lines and refined finishes. The multifunction steering wheel from the Nivus and a fully digital instrument display in the higher-end versions are major highlights. The 10-inch multimedia screen promises to be more modern and efficient. The interior space remains generous, with a load capacity of up to 1,560 kg in the double cab version.

The prices of the new Volkswagen Amarok 2025 in Brazil start at R$ 298,000 for the entry-level Comfortline version and go up to R$ 337,000 for the top-of-the-line Extreme version. So, did you like the new Amarok? Do you think it is up to par with its competitors? What is your favorite midsize pickup?

This was the revelation of the new Volkswagen Amarok 2025, a pickup that promises to win many fans with its innovative design and unmatched robustness.

But What Is The History Of The Volkswagen Amarok?

Volkswagen Amarok was officially launched in 2010. It was the first midsize pickup from the German brand, and its name “Amarok” comes from an Inuit word meaning “wolf”. The launch initially occurred in South America, specifically in Argentina, where the pickup is produced at the Pacheco factory.

The Amarok stood out for its robust design and the combination of comfort and load capacity. Initially, it offered 2.0-liter diesel engines with different power configurations, standing out for its efficiency and durability.

In 2016, the Amarok received a significant update, with the introduction of a 3.0-liter V6 turbo diesel engine, which further improved its performance and towing capacity. This update also brought enhancements to the interior design, with more comfort and technology.

Volkswagen launched a new generation of the Amarok in 2022, with significant improvements in design, technology, and engine options. The new generation was developed in collaboration with Ford, sharing the platform with the Ford Ranger, while maintaining its own identity and characteristics from Volkswagen.
