The Brazilian JBS – the world’s largest meat processor, has many job openings for high school and higher education to meet its factories in SP and GO. In June of this year, the company announced the construction of a biodiesel factory in Mafra (SC). Approximately R$ 180 million was invested in the construction of the new facility.

The JBS Biodiesel factory in Mafra, SC will have an area of 76 thousand square meters and, when completed, is expected to generate 100 direct job openings and about 300 indirect ones.

The new factory will be able to produce 1 million liters daily. “The plant will start operating to help meet the demand for the entry of B13, and ready to accommodate the growth of the regulatory framework that is expected to reach 15% in 2023,” adds the executive, referring to the increase in the blend of biodiesel with diesel from the current 12% to 13%, scheduled to take effect in March 2021.
